I found joy today
lurking in the misty morning,
hiding under the mystery.
The song of the Earth
resonated within
her music connecting all beings.
Not alone.
No not alone
am I.
I saw in the Mother’s dance
darkness and light
twined in wholeness,
in power.
In loving her,
the promise of love for myself.
Beloved.
Yes treasured
am I.
And the tears poured forth
spilled by beauty instead of pain.
And my heart broke
not from betrayal but from endless love.
In that wonder,
in that peace,
yes I found joy today.
